| Product Description |
The RS-5 version of the R-Strap is based around a unique, layered design to accommodate more storage than you ever thought possible in a camera strap. Located on the front outside of the pad is a pocket for carrying a smart phone, large battery, walkie-talkie, or similar sized items. The top of the pad opens up to reveal even more storage within: enough to carry 9+ memory cards, ID, credit cards, and more. Load it up right, and youll never run out of memory or power. The silent closures are thanks to padded Neodymium magnets, so you can sift through your storage with out making a sound. Perfect for when you are sneaking up on a grizzly bear or when the bride is giving her vows! |

I bought the RS-5 a couple weeks ago after using the stock Nikon straps on my cameras. When I first got it and tried it out I had reservations about my the connector on the bottom of the camera. That's close to $6k dangling from that little threaded loop and quite a leap of faith to trust it. So let me tell you...wet the connector before tightly screwing it into your camera and you will need a crow bar to get that thing off. It's secure.
The storage is great and quiet as advertised. Love that my iPhone slips perfectly into the provided pocket although I wish it were slightly larger to accommodate a cased iPhone. Oh well that's not enough to lose a star in my opinion.
It did take me some time get the length dialed in because but not because the strap was hard to adjust. I just couldn't decide where I liked it and wasn't used to this system of camera slinging.
I'm generally more comfortable shooting without having a strap around my neck which leads me to what I consider to be the biggest advantage of this strap (and others like it) which is that I can remove it. Completely and quickly. That's big deal to me because I spend a good portion of my time shooting on my stomach rolling around in the dirt. And when doing that I'd get my Nikon strap blocking the lens somewhat frequently. Not a problem anymore.
I liked this strap so much that I bought my wife the RS-W1 which will be arriving soon. |

Best Camera Strap Ever
2010-07-30
|
| I was informed of this product from a co-worker and love it! I gernerally do not spend money frivulously but when I saw this product and how well it worked, I was sold. The camera hangs nicely to my side out of the way. The pockets I did not use much, but would find them useful if necessary. The dureability and ease of use as well as functionality is great. I would highly recommend this product to any camera user. It sure beats having the camera hang around your neck swinging forward and getting knocked around. |

Camera strap

| The concept of this strap is good. However, I found the adjustments complicated and it simply did not fit my body. I did not like the way the strap pulled against my neck. Therefore, I returned it. It may fit others better. |

| Bought this for my girlfriend who is a great photographer and needed something to carry her camera but able to still quickly take pictures so she doesn't miss a shot. She loves it, especially likes the pocket for her phone. Now she doesn't need a designated bag to carry the camera when we're site seeing. |

| Black Rapid is a godsend. The straps help distribute the weight from the camera to help keep your back fresher longer on long days. Worth every penny spent |
