Exceptional binocs
2008-09-06
|
| Same quality as Zeiss, Swarovski or Leica at half the price. Image quality very high. The most I'll spend on a set of binocs in my lifetime but so far I'm not regretting the purchase and they'll probably be the last I'll need to buy. Highly recommended by Consumer Reports also. |

pentax 10x50 DCF ED bino
2008-08-01
|
| If you are looking for top notch binoculars, you are likely considering the big three, Zeiss, Swarovski, Leica and possibly some others. I have used my Zeiss 10X40's since 1993 and decided to pass these bino's along to my son. I was fortunate enought to pick up a pair of Pentax DCF ED bino's. All I can say is that to me they are absolutely on par with the elite three..but for about half the cost. Test them side by side yourself and there is no way that any miniscule differenc is worth twice the money. I am blown away with the quality of these bino's for the money! |
