Drive provides regulated sidereal-rate tracking in right ascension (plus declination for EQ-3M Dual-Axis drive). Hand controller has 2x and 4x (EQ-2M and EQ-3M Dual-Axis) or 8x (EQ-1M and EQ-3M Single Axis) speeds and pause mode. External disengage allows coarse movement of the scope by hand with motor attached. Both systems include electronic motor, hand controller, and battery case. Powered by four D-cell batteries (not included). |
