Have a look at your boot soles. If they're worn thin by miles of trail, the Trophy series is your spotting scope. It's built to withstand the punishment of the harshest terrain. Compact and rubber-armored, the 100% waterproof design is available in two zoom ranges up to 60x magnification. Porro prisms and premium, multi-coated optics ensure a bright, clear picture.
I used this scope to spot hits on a target. I was concerned about clarity from distances up to 200 yards away. I was surprised that I was able to spot hits at 200 yards from a .223 round. I used floresent target dots on the black background targets to help with sighting and to aid the scope. If you plan to go beyond 200 yards, you need to invest a little more to get better optics. If 200 yards is your maximum, then this scope will do the job. The hard and soft cases are a nice addition.

Average type of Spotting Scope for the price I paid for it. Tripod not much use,not to stable. Zoom adjust collar is VERY stiff. I must hold tripod in one hand to adjust the eyepiece zoom control with the other hand. Somewhat dissapointed with the item. I could have made a better purchase by buying a BSA or Barska at my local Big 5 store. There I could check scope before purchase.

I purchased this scope for my husband for Christmas. He was so exstatic when he opened it. He showed me what it did and I was amazed myself. There is a cemetery next to a church that is a good distance away and I was could read the names on the headstones at half magnification. Hubby loved everything about the scope, especially that it came in a case so he didn't worry about messing it up when carrying it around. Doing the research on the spotting scopes really made me smarter about the product and it ensured the pleasure I felt when my husband saw his Christmas gift. He said I did an outstanding job in picking out the perfect scope.
