Amazing Binoculars!

I have so many good things to say about these binoculars. First of all, they come with a lifetime no fault warranty. This means if you break them, or if they break themselves, ever, you can get them replaced for free! Even if it your fault! This is amazing!
Second, the optical quality of these Bak 4 roof prism binoculars is unparalleled for anything less than double the price. The ergonomics are nearly perfect- not too heavy, excellent balance, and the eye pieces have extenders that block glare and reduce eye fatigue. These are as good as the Nikon Monarchs for 1/4th the price. The have fully coated optics for better low light resolution, and they have a long eye relief which make them less fatiguing to use.
Overall, these may very well be the best binoculars on the planet for less than $100, and I can say this because I have been researching binoculars for the last 6 months, and I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering so I know what goes into making a good binocular. Sure the $1500 Swarovski's are better, but not by much! |

Waterproof?

| I put a floatation strap on these binoculars and placed them in fresh water for perhaps 30 seconds to test for bouyancy. I then packed them for a western trip that included a five day float trip. When I unpacked them one tube was completely obscured with water droplets. Within a half hour in the sun the other tube was fogged beyond use. |
