Professional Review from a wedding Photographer
2008-11-04

| I have found that this is a durable, fast writing card that can keep up with the way I shoot. When a bridal party and bride bride is coming down the isle towards you and you have to get a couple great shots of each of them and still be able to get the next in line (which means pumping out a bunch of shots in a row, allowing the camera to write to the card, and the shooting some more) this card can keep which means I'm able to deliver. I choose 4gb cards because I can back up to dvd's easier otherwise I would shoot with 8gh cards. |

Fast card, but expensive

I use this Ducati Extreme card in my Nikon D300 with great results. The write time is extremely fast and keeps up with my camera. If you're looking to spend a little less money, I would go with the Extreme IV CF cards. They're very fast as well, and cost less per gigabyte.
I've always been happy with Sandisk products. They've never let me down when it comes to photography. |

Sandisk Extreme Ducati

| The fastest Compact Flash card SanDisk makes. It performs flawlessly with very fast transfer speeds between the computer and the reader. I use a Lexar Firewire card reader also sold on Amazon. It's more expensive but if your time is valuable you will appreciate its performance. |

Outstanding CF Card

I'm useing this card in a Canon 40d which bursts at 6.5 frames a second. Shot 142 pix (jpg) before I stopped shooting. I'm not sure how many frames past that it would have gone before slowing down or stopping to await the transfer from the camera buffer to the card. Fast downloads to the computer as well.
Highly recommend this cards if you need to shoot in the 'burst' speed mode. If you don't shoot a lot of action in busts mode, save your $$$ and get the Extreme III card. Also highly recommended |
