Great!
2004-05-09
|
| This is an awesome little hand held scanner. Of course it is perfect for the i-Zone photographs, but you can also use it to scan other small items (i use it a lot for small drawings). The great thing about the Webster is that you can throw it in your backpack and carry it with you (it's powered by batteries). The other great thing is the price, for under ten bucks you can't beat it. |

A good scanner for the price

| I mean the price I payed for mine, $10, where is $75 coming from? Do not buy it for that price!!! Don't get me wrong, I love my little scanner, I do not own the I-zone camera, I had lots of pictures that you could barely make out what was in them, now I scan them and Voila, LOL you can see everthing, I have my own website and every picture on there is from the webster. I would more likely recommend this scanner as a gift for a child, but for someone who does not have a scanner the webster is great too. NOT FOR $75 THOUGH, BUY A REAL SCANNER FOR THAT PRICE. |

GREAT AND FUN WHILE IT WORKS
2002-07-12
|
| I REALLY DID LOVE MY WEBSTER WHILE IT WORKED. IT WAS A GREAT WAY FOR ME TO GET A COPY OF PHOTOS THAT I WOULD TAKE AND GIVE AWAY. IT WAS SO QUICK AND EASY. I HAVEN'T HAD IT VERY LONG BUT NOW I GUESS A LIGHT BURNT OUT. HALF OF THE PHOTOS I SCANNED WERE FINE BUT THE LAST HALF CAME OUT EXTREMELY DARK. MORE THAN USUAL. I DON'T KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO CHANGE THE LIGHTS BUT IT DOESN'T LOOK EASY. THIS REALLY IS A NEAT DEVICE TO USE WITH YOUR IZONE CAMERA. THE PROGRAM IS EASY TO INSTALL ON YOUR COMPUTER AND THEN YOU PLUG THE SCANNER IN. IT IS LIGHTWEIGHT AND SMALL SO YOU CAN TAKE THE SCANNER ANYWHERE WITH YOU AND YOUR IZONE. YOU MUST USE BATTERIES AND BE SURE TO BRING SPARE SINCE IT [takes] THE LIFE OUT OF THEM. BUT DON'T CHANGE THE BATTERIES WHILE YOU HAVE PHOTOS SAVED ON IT OR THEY WILL BE LOST. IT HOLDS 20 PHOTOS SO YOU MUST DOWNLOAD THEM ONTO YOUR COMPUTER TO PUT MORE. I FOUND THE PROGRAM VERY EASY TO USE AND FUN. YOU CAN DOCREATIVE THINGS TO THE PHOTOS ONCE THEY ARE ON THE COMPUTER AND INTO THE PROGRAM. |

Polaroid i-zone Webster
2001-12-11
|
| (...) However, for what I paid and what it does, you can't beat it. You really *don't* need an i-zone camera to have fun with this. I actually find myself throwing it in my coat pocket as I head out for lunch downtown to document the trip, and come back with some great textures, fonts, eyeballs, artsy-fartsy blurred out photos, etc. The photos tend to come out a little on the dark side, but a little photoshop help cleans them right up. Just plain fun. The only real downer is no mac support, but i'll live with that for now. I want to take one apart and play with the focus range, maybe build a lens for it... |
