Works Well, But Enhances Lens Flare 2010-09-01
THE SKINNY: This item works well to protect the lens from accidental scrapes and bumps as well as blocks out the UV light, making pictures of landscapes and outdoor activity less foggy from UV light. It's a great addition for a small price. The one thing noticeably bad, depending on your opinion is the fact it enhances lens flare. I like it, my wife does not. The focus of the lens flare is no larger, it's the resulting color spots from the flare that get larger and more noticeable. If this bothers you, the filter threads on and off quickly. PROS: Protects lens from elements Makes sharper images CONS: Larger color spots from lens flares BOTTOM LINE: I recommend.

I bought this as a gift and have no way of rating it, because I haven't used it.

It came out of it's plastic case and the lens was scratched. However, I returned it and recieved a very quick refund.
