Big and Sturdy

I'm very pleased with my Vanguard Tracker. I had a cheapo Wal-Mart tripod that broke and I didn't want to have to go through that again. This one is on the heavier side but I like that; it'll hold more than enough weight for my setup. I'm not using it for backpacking so I didn't feel the need for a carbon fiber tripod.
Overall, a good value for the money and I don't think I'll have to worry about this one breaking. |

Vangruard Tracker 1

| This tripod is excellent in its solidity. Its quite heavy, but worth it, especially if you have a heavy camera. The many different ways the legs unfold are good, and the ability to get super close to the ground is good as well. When turning the handle, there is a bit of a jerk, and then it works smoothly, not too bad, would be nice if it wasn't there, but otherwise this tripod is excellent. |
