Buy more batteries for the price of one!
2009-06-25
|
This battery seems to give me the same capacity in my 40D as the original battery. This is a great deal for the price. The only gripe I have is that it does not come with a battery cover plate (for storing), and the canon one doesn't fit it.
Pick up 2 batteries for less than the price of 1 canon OEM! |

No surprises, good longevity
2009-05-28
|
I've had this battery for a while, and there are no surprises here. It charges at the same rate as the Canon battery, it lasts as long as the canon battery, and I've had no lifespan issues with it yet.
The seller is fast, the product is cheap, and it works just fine. If you need a BP-511 battery, buy this one. You will not be disappointed. |

Works Like a Charm

| Rec'd battery within delivery time indicated and charged the battery and used it on a very important photo shoot and the battery work like a charm and continues to work. I have not charged the battery and that has been over two weeks ago |

Beware of mAh capacity
2009-05-11
|
| I've bought this battery twice, once from a Merchant on Amazon, once from Amazon directly. Currently the product description is saying the battery has a 1200 mAh capacity. The first time I purchased it, the battery was stamped 1800mAh; the second time when I purchased it from Amazon directly it was stamped 1600mAh. |

Get what you pay for!
2009-04-28
|
| These batteries are a bargain but don't expect them to last as long as the one that came with your camera. I first noticed the battery completely discharged after sitting a week or two after I'd shot a few pictures. That never happened before. A full charge simply doesn't last as long. You'll want to carry a spare. If you've got the jack, go for the one from Canon. If you're not a pro, this battery will do you for awhile for less money. |
